Therabody is seeking a talented Digital Copywriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating high-converting copy and content for digital channels and a passion for crafting compelling copy that not only engages our audience but also drives conversions. As a relentless self-starter and results-driven executor, this individual can seamlessly switch gears from crafting a smart, punchy product tagline to transforming scientific, technical information into digestible, consumer-friendly copy. This role will play a crucial role in shaping our brand voice and communicating our value proposition effectively across various digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft persuasive product descriptions, headlines, CTAs (Calls to Action), and other digital content that resonate with our target audience and drive conversion
- Utilize UX/UI best practices to enhance user experience and encourage action at every stage of the customer journey
- Optimize copy for search engines (SEO) and paid search (SEM) to improve visibility and drive traffic
- Test and iterate copy based on performance metrics and user feedback to continuously improve conversion rates
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to understand target audience personas, brand messaging, and campaign objectives
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and keyword analysis to inform content development
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all touch points to maintain brand integrity
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends in digital marketing and copywriting
The Right Person Would Have
- 5+ years in writing for ecommerce copywriting with a focus on direct-to-consumer brands.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and how they impact conversion rates.
- Expertise in SEO and SEM strategies, including keyword research and optimization techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to be a self-starter who works collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), Figma, Asana and familiarity with digital analytics tools.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant work samples and demonstrated results.
- Knowledge of AP style guidelines
$75,000 – $90,000 a yearThis base pay range is for the U.S. and not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, candidate’s related work experience, business sector and geographic location. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus, although incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
