Role
As our copywriter, you’ll be writing various forms of copy to promote our products, events, webinars, and funnels under the Home Service Expert brand.
You will report directly to our copy chief, Ian Chew, and our CMO, Gianni Cara. You will also periodically communicate with the rest of the team (we coordinate via Slack every day and via Zoom every two weeks.)
This is a full-time, remote role.
Key Responsibilities
Working directly under our copy chief, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Write FB ad copy for various products, events, webinars, and funnels
- Write email copy, both sales and delivery
- Write social copy as needed (Facebook Group and/or LinkedIn)
- Assist on sales page copy and other copy projects as needed (including but not limited to Amazon book review scraping, customer research and interviews)
- Review marketing KPIs periodically and make recommendations to improve copy/create new copy pieces
Skills/Traits
- Writing Proficiency: Skilled in storytelling, ghostwriting, and balancing between selling and educating
- Consistency: Able to produce a few high-quality emails and/or ads every week during launch period
- Curiosity: Loves learning about all things business (ideally, you read business and self-help books in your free time 🙂
- Humility: Open to receiving feedback and improving copy
Experience
- [Mandatory] Has more than 2 years of experience writing copy, ideally in the biz opp info product industry.
- [Optional – but a big plus!] Has experience running a business or assisting a business owner, ideally in the home service industry.
