Founded in 2014, Authority Hacker is a leading digital marketing training company. We create actionable SEO and online marketing education for website owners.
We share awesome free content on our blog, podcast, and YouTube channels. You can regularly find the world’s top marketers engaging with and sharing our content.
We pride ourselves on our fluff-free, actionable, ‘tell it how it is’ approach to content. Our readers trust us because we’re honest with them. We put integrity above profits. Most other marketers cannot say the same.
The latest addition to the company is our news channel, where we share, analyze, and react to the latest hot topics in the industry – as it’s happening – in bite-sized chunks. We want to be the source that a wide variety of people turn to to easily stay up to date on what’s happening out there and find out what that means for them.
That’s where you come in.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- In-depth knowledge of the SEO industry and related topics – if you have a specialty, we want to know about it
- Basic familiarity with AI
- A+ writing skills (video script writing is a plus, though not a requirement – we’ll work closely with you along the way, as you learn)
- Strong ability to adhere to and expand on a provided outline and sources in a way that is easy to understand
- Consistent tone and voice
- Ability to provide clear, informed and consistent communication
- Great work ethic and quick turnover of content
- (Experience with Notion is a plus!)
What will you do as a YouTube Scriptwriter?
- Write engaging, best-in-class scripts to be featured on our YouTube channel, that work for our intended audience
- Outline and structure content
- Collaborate with the project manager and news team
- Participate in weekly planning meetings and provide regular feedback

– After the initial probationary phase, we can provide a minimum of $100 per week. This is subject to increase if you excel in the role.
This position is for regular freelance contributions to our news channel.
Our rate is dependent on experience.
You must be available to work at least 12-15 hours across Mondays and Tuesdays specifically to apply.
