About the Role – DevOps Engineer
As a DevOps Engineer at ChainGPT, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our AI and blockchain-powered applications. Your expertise in AWS services and DevOps best practices will be essential in driving the continuous improvement of our infrastructure and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
– Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS
– Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
– Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of our applications.
– Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
– Ensure the security of our cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with AWS security features.
– Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues on time.
– Continuously identify and implement improvements to our infrastructure and deployment processes.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between infrastructure and application requirements.
Requirements
– 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS
– Deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS/EKS.
– Experience with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
– Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or Bash.
– Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
– Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Github Actions, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
– Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
– Experience working in a startup environment focusing on AI, Blockchain, or Web3 technologies.
– Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
– Knowledge of networking concepts and experience with VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
– Certification in AWS, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
– Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.

Employment Structure:
Contractor Status: All positions are offered on a contractor basis. As such, individuals will be responsible for their tax obligations in accordance with local, state, and federal law. We recommend consulting with a tax advisor to ensure compliance.
Compensation:
Cryptocurrency Payments: Compensation is provided in cryptocurrency (USDT BEP20) to align with our company’s focus on blockchain technology. Payments are issued bi-monthly, on the 1st and 16th of each month.
Probationary Period:
Initial Assessment: All new hires will undergo a 60-day probationary period to ensure mutual compatibility. During this time, both the employee and ChainGPT can evaluate the employment relationship.
