You will gain hands-on experience in the music industry and assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote our artists and their music. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our teams and gain insight into the inner workings of a music label. Proficiency in the Afrikaans Language is a must for this role.
What you’ll do:
- Collate and prepare information for weekly Label meetings and forward planning document
- Support the PR team in the management of email marketing campaigns and proof-reading press releases and website articles, newsletters, media samples
- Administrate social media plans for artists’ upcoming releases as well as assisting with growing social media presence and fan interaction
- Help coordinate and execute promotional events, including album launches and concerts as well as prepare documents and rehearsal material for artists and the production team
- Prepare and edit canvases from music videos and banners and trailers for video premiers
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the A&R tea
Who you are:
- Recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
- Passion for music and a strong interest in the music industry
- Knowledge of Afrikaans written and verbal a must
- Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok)
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus
- Strong Organizational skills and attention to details
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
